Daughter of Saroja and Balachandra Shetty. Born and brought up in Mumbai.1st stage performance at the age of 3 and won several awards since then. Started learning Bharatanatyam from Kalasadan Institute of Fine Arts and did Rangapravesha at the age of 12. Performed at various parts of India for dance festivals and organizations since then. Won several prizes at school and college. She also participated in dance India dance and qualified for top 50.
She joined Kalajagatthu Mumbai and played the lead in several dramas directed by Dr Thonse Vijaykumar Shetty. She also won Abhinaya Kalasharade award in a state level Tulu Drama competition hosted by Rangachavadi. She started Yakshagana & did several distinctive Veshas in various Prasangas like Shashiprabhe in Shashiprabha Parinaya, Basmasura in Basmasura mohini, Devi in Devi Mahatme, Nandini in later Kshetra Mahatme and many others.
